Now finally in remission at the age of seven, Seth has joined Bellarmine University\u2019s (Louisville, Kentucky) Men\u2019s Basketball team. A five-time leukemia survivor, Seth already knows a great deal about courage and tenacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seth, who officially joined the Bellarmine Men\u2019s Basketball team this past season, signed his letter of intent in front of hundreds of screaming fans. In attendance was Patrick McSweeney, who joined Bellarmine with Team IMPACT in 2013. \u201cYou\u2019ll be one of us,\u201d said McSweeny at Seth\u2019s signing day, already taking the newest recruit under his wing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cFor our guys, college is about life lessons,\u201d said Head Coach Scott Davenport at Seth\u2019s Signing Day. \u201cSeth is bringing life lessons to this basketball program. Extraordinary people make others better. Today, seven-year-old Seth Walsh made this basketball program, and everybody associated with it better. It\u2019s a chance for them to be part of something bigger than themselves. Cancer touches us all.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With help from Team IMPACT, the Walsh family now has an incredible new network of support, and Seth can get in the game.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Seth has joined Bellarmine University\u2019s (Louisville, Kentucky) Men\u2019s Basketball team.
